Vahid Alaghband, Founder and Chairman of Balli Group plc, was educated in Switzerland and the USA, where he received his BS and MS degrees in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at Cornell University. He is a member of the Clinton Global Initiative, a trustee of Asia House London and an International Council Member of Asia Society New York. Close « | HASSAN ALAGHBAND Director Hassan Alaghband joined Balli Group in 1990 after six years with US law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, and two years as a Professor of Law. He has a BS in Management & Accounting, an MBA from Boston University and a Juris Doctor from the American University. Hassan is also a Member of the District of Columbia Bar, the State Bar of California and a Certified Public Accountant. Close « | Melis Erda, Treasurer, joined Balli Group in 1996 after working at Turk Philips as Treasurer, and as a Relations Manager (multinational firms) at the Bank of Boston, Turkey. Melis’ education includes a BS in Economics from Bosphorus University, Turkey, and an MS in Finance from Harvard University, USA. David holds an MA (Hons) in Politics and French from the University of Edinburgh, the Certificat d’Études Politiques from the Institut d’Études Politiques de Grenoble and an MSc (with Merit) in Real Estate Investment (Faculty of Finance) from CASS Business School. He has a BSc from Cardiff University and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. David is also the Group Finance Director of Balli Holdings Limited.
